Matching numbers 390cid Go Pack car with factory 4-speed, air conditioning and just 24,746 original miles driven since new. Two owners since 1971. This AMX was parked, un-used in a garage from 1980 until 2008 when the son of the original owner rescued it and undertook a full no expense spared restoration. Rebuilt engine, rebuilt Borg Warner T-10, new suspension with all new brakes, springs, bushings, sway bars and new KYB shocks. The factory air conditioning system is also fully rebuilt
including all new lines, new compressor and condenser. Cosmetically, the car was stripped to bare metal and the bone-dry body was resprayed its factory original Beale Street Blue with silver stripes, the undercarriage fully finished, new carpets installed and new leather upholstery fitted including the rare original factory headrests. All original sheet metal, glass, gauge pod and wheels. Restoration was completed in May 2009 with 1,855 miles driven since. Detailed restoration album and information, over $62,000 in receipts, ownership history, photo CD and the original AM radio are all included with the car.
