This project started with an original rust-free SS 396 car. Complete ground-up pro build by Hi Speed Rod & Custom with a 502cid Ram Jet GM crate engine producing 502hp and 565 ft/lbs of torque. Multiport electronic fuel injection. Serpentine Front Runner drive system. Automatic overdrive transmission with Hughes stall converter. Tubular suspension system front and back. Air Ride Technologies air ride system with Shock Wave bags. Baer disc brakes on all four corners with drilled and vented
rotors. Oversized sway bars. Currie 9' rear end with 3.73 posi-traction. Custom mixed Burnt Orange metallic paint by Johnny Vegas. Laser-straight body panels and excellent panel fitment throughout. Rotisserie detailed undercarriage. Custom leather interior with suede inserts and wool carpeting. Trunk finished as nice as the interior. Dynamat sound insulation throughout. Vintage Air and heat system. Power steering, power brakes, and power windows. Remote control door poppers. Massive sound system. Custom dash and hand fabricated gauge panel with Stewart Warner Maximum Performance gauges. Custom steering column and steering wheel. Custom fabricated console. Special made Budnik 19' and 20' rims with two tone satin finish. Brushed nickel brightwork. All new glass and weather stripping. Drives as good as it looks. Less than 100 break-in miles on car.
