Chevelle's top trim model was the SS396, of which only 2,286 convertibles were produced in 1968. A late-production model originally built in late May 1968 as a 396/350hp.This SS was the recipient of a very high-quality professional concours restoration finished in its original colors of Matador Red with White Parchment interior and top. Retaining its original restored parts and received many new factory Chevrolet NOS parts or the highest quality reproduction when not available. Resulting in

incredible paint, trim, body lines and fitment. It’s fresh with only break-in miles, and the restoration is documented with photos and receipts in excess of $190k. The upgraded power includes the 396ci/375hp L78 V8 engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, 12-bolt posi traction rear differential with 3.31 gears.
