Details
Custom build by Ringbrothers, this car has been featured in Super Rod magazine and was a finalist at Goodguys as well as in the running for Popular Hot Rodding Street Machine of the Year. Tasteful modifications abound from the chrome Plymouth Prowler door handles and C5 Corvette tail lights to the aluminum Audi TT gas cap and shortened chrome rear bumper. The interior features charcoal gray C5 Corvette leather bucket seats, custom black convertible top and a custom body color steel dash with Auto Meter gauges, chrome switches and Vintage Air climate control. The power operated trunk holds a DVD player, Sony Xplod 10-disc CD changer and a huge Alpine amp, all controlled by a Sony AM/FM/CD player. The GM Performance Ram Jet ZZ502 big block crate engine produces around 540hp with the help of an Arizona Speed and Marine fuel injection system, headers and a true dual 3' stainless exhaust system exiting through polished Borla mufflers. Behind the engine is a Lakewood bell housing, 5-speed manual Tremec 3550 transmission, Hayes performance clutch and Currie 9' rear running Strange axles and 3.25 final drive gears. An Art Morrison built chassis and Aldan coilover shocks hold this Camaro to the road while power Wilwood disc brakes keep it all under control. Chrome C4 Corvette ZR1 wheels wearing Goodyear Eagle GS-C performance radials really finish the car off nicely.
