1968 was the start of the 3-year only run of the great American Motors Corporation AMX two-seater. In 1968, AMC congratulated Angela Dorian, the 'Playboy Playmate of the Year,' by handing her the keys to a brand-new AMX, powered by a 390 and finished in 'Playmate Pink. This particular AMX is a tribute to the original car, finished in the same color combination as the 1968 'Playboy Playmate of the Year' car. This car is upgraded with a 390cid 'Go Pack' option, mated to a floor mounted OEM
3-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle was well-optioned from the factory, having high bucket seats with headrests, side pipe exhaust, as well as magnum-finished wheels. It has received a recent full service which included all fluids, filters, new battery, new plugs, brake bleed and flush, newer tires, balanced and alignment with full tune-up. It is in strong operating condition. It also comes with the almost never present full inflate-a-spare, jack and air canister. There are no signs of rust, nor any panel replacement on this car. The paint was recently re-sprayed in good condition. All glass is free of defects and all brightwork is either NOS or has been re-furbished to good condition. Won Gold award at AMX 40th Reunion event.
