Details
This is a King of Cool, James Dean-style re-creation Spyder 550. It has a Perry D body from Perris, CA, and under 1,000 miles since completed. It's powered by a 4-speed manual with a 1,776 dual-carb engine with stainless-steel exhaust. It also features a full roll bar, 4-point seatbelts and heated seats. A hydraulic clutch and Empi shifter make this car a blast to drive. Built on a 1967 VW pan, the Perry D design gives more leg room than a normal Spyder, which makes this a driver's car.
Front-mounted fuel tank and battery with flip-up rear body allow for access to engine and components. Styled after the road-race Porsches of the '50s, this car is eye-catching. Complete book of build info and receipts included with car **TITLED AS 1967 VOLKSWAGEN**
