Details
An homage to the car that had the starring role in the 1968 Disney film 'The Love Bug,' this 1967 Volkswagen Beetle sunroof 'Herbie' re-creation is complete with a squirting feature operated by remote control. The franchise spawned several zany sequels throughout the decades as well as several variants of the main character, 'Herbie.' It is finished with red, white and blue stripes on the left and the famous No. 53 Herbie graphics. Powered by a 1500cc 4-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission, the car features the correct light-colored interior with bucket seats, glass-covered headlights, small taillights, an AM/FM radio and a cloth sunroof. It rides on Goodyear tires wrapping chromed deep wheels with domed hubcaps, finishing off a fitting tribute to 'Herbie.' Comprehensively detailed with a well-dressed engine, this 'Herbie' is very recognizable and likely to bring countless smiles and camera clicks as it drives by.
