This new-build Cobra re-creation was built by Bill Jordan, the Cobra expert who appeared on the world-renowned South Beach Classics TV show with Ted Vernon. Has show-quality paint and upholstery. This Cobra has less than 100 test miles and was built for safety, performance and ease of maintenance. The safety features include a collapsible stainless steel steering column, 4-wheel disc brakes, race-style removable steering wheel and stainless-steel roll bar. The high-performance suspension system
includes fully adjustable coilover shocks all around, triangulated 4-link rear suspension and tubular front control arms, all of which provide a comfortable ride as well as fantastic handling. The cowl has been insulated and covered with stainless-steel panels for heat and noise reduction inside the cockpit. The engine is an enhanced 5.0-liter Ford with a Ford T5 5-speed transmission and 9' Ford rear end. The aluminum radiator is a triple-pass unit with a 3,500cfm electric fan, giving excellent cooling. The frame has been powder coated, the headers are thermal-wrapped and side pipes are high-heat treated and have stainless-steel shields. The wheels are 15', period-correct Hallibrand style.
