Experienced craftsmen took the body and frame down to the last nut and bolt on this no-expense-spared buildout. Original California sheet metal was stripped and shaped to laser-straight condition and refinished in a period-correct white roof and Hugger Orange paint combination. Factory-correct trim and emblems accent timeless design, and the bed was professionally fitted with new oak wood and hardware. Original equipment, from radiator shroud to hose clamps, cleverly conceals a genuine Chevrolet Performance big-block in the faithfully detailed engine compartment. The dual-snorkel air cleaner, tuned fuel-injection system and high-flow, steel-tube exhaust headers help the aluminum cylinder head 502ci V8 engine perform at a high level. An automatic transmission with column shift sends power through the 2-speed transfer case to keep all four wheels churning. Factory power steering and brakes deliver 4-wheel-drive control. The original and intact Service Parts Identification (SPID) glovebox decal confirms this K20 left the factory loaded with options. Factory bucket seats and the center Buddy Bucket white vinyl with plaid cloth upholstery, and black loop carpet adds wall-to-wall living room comfort. Optional factory air conditioning flows through the cabin for four-season climate control, and an OEM-looking stereo packs Bluetooth connectivity for modern entertainment.
