This is unquestionably one of the rarest Chevrolet El Caminos every produced and is one of only five listed in the National L79 Registry. A two-owner genuine L79 sold new at Ellis Chevrolet-Olds in Lincoln City, OR on May 17, 1967 to Mr. Arlen J. Burpee. The car has remained in Oregon for over 45 years and is documented with the original Protect-O-Plate. Original matching numbers engine, transmission and rear end. Features include original 327/325hp ER Coded engine with smog, original 462 heads, intake, distributor and alternator, original Holley 3806 carburetor, original Muncie 4-speed transmission, original 12-bolt 3.55 posi-traction rear end, all new and correct black vinyl upholstery, new or refinished chrome, trim and glass, rebuilt engine and transmission with receipts and stock steel wheels, caps and redline tires. Body-off restoration and refinished in Marina Blue. Documented and matching numbers L79.
