and Kay Fair, the original owners, ordered their 1967 Chevelle SS from the factory through Fortino Jackson Chevrolet in Pueblo, Colorado. They took delivery from the factory 6 weeks later due to the special ordered Royal Plum color. It was their first brand new car. They owned their Chevelle SS until 1974 when gas prices soared to over $.50 a gallon and then they regretfully sold their car. Several years fast forward they were reunited in Denver.
