Details
This factory short-bed 1967 C10 was professionally built recently by Hostetter's Hot Rods. The body is done in PPG Atlantis Blue. All the panels on the truck are new sheet metal. The truck was bodyworked after being completely assembled to get a mirror-like reflection. It sports a set of custom GSI billet exterior door handles. The engine bay has a custom firewall, as well as custom upper and lower radiator filler panels. It has a set of Slosh Tubz inner fenders that have custom sheet metal panels for a cleaner look. The engine is a 5.3-liter LS V8 engine with a custom Velocity sheet metal intake and polished coil pack covers. It has a set of stainless-steel TIG welded headers and matching TIG welded stainless exhaust system with GSI hangers. To feed the LS engine there is a Boyd Welding aluminum gas tank with an in tank Aeromotive fuel pump. The fuel system is done in a combination of braided stainless line and hard stainless fuel lines with AN fittings and a billet in-line filter. It has a 4L60E transmission and torque converter from Karway Transmissions. The rear end is a narrowed 9-inch Ford with 3.55 gears, professionally shortened and assembled by AZ Differential. The rear suspension has tubular trailing arms with polished adjustable coilover shocks. The rear frame has been C-notched to accommodate for the low ride height. The chassis has custom center and rear Porter Built crossmembers. The front suspension has upper and lower tubular control A-arms with 2.5-inch drop spindles and a set of polished adjustable coilover shocks. The truck has 4-wheel disc brakes with a Hydro-Boost setup and an aluminum Wilwood master cylinder; the brake lines are done in stainless steel by Fuller Fabrications. The interior is finished in Dove Gray and has a custom Snowden seat with custom-wrapped steering wheel, door panels, dash pad and kick panels by Ceballos Customs. To keep passengers comfortable,
the truck is equipped with Vintage Air with a billet control panel. It has a billet steering wheel and polished stainless steering column with all new shafts and U-joints. There is a beautiful carbon-fiber Dakota Digital instrument cluster. The truck has a new American Auto wiring harness, Muscle Rod performance engine harness and flashed ECU. Inside the cab, back side of fenders and bottom side of bed, as well as the bottom of the cab, have been cleaned and coated with Raptor Liner for a quieter ride. Dynamat is present under the carpet to keep inside the cab as quiet as possible. The truck is sitting on an amazing set of custom Curtis Speed Shop billet wheels. The fronts are 18x8 inches and the rears are 20x12 inches with Pirelli tires. The bed wood is MAR-K oak done in a Smoke Gray. All glass has been replaced.
