1966 SHELBY GT350 FASTBACK

This Shelby was delivered to Webster Ford Sales in Caruthers CA November 17th 1965 and sold to Ted Parsons. 315 was owned by Ted and never transferred owners until December 2000 when Ken Adams purchased 315 out of Wayne Freeman's back yard in Aromas, California. Ken restored the car to its current race trim throughout 2001 and entered it in the local SCCA race at Laguna Seca in November 2001 and finished its first race. This car has a storied race history since then competing throughout the 2000s and even raced at Limerock and Watkins Glenn in 2006. This car carries with it a prestigious HMSA log book with all its history since 2007. This car has been accepted to The Wine Country Classic twice as well as several trips to the Monterey Historics finishing 2nd in 2006. This car comes with an Arizona title registered to its only 4th owner with a copy of the California title as well as its original Bill of Sale from Shelby American. One of the greatest things about 315 is it can be used as a race car or registered street car and driven on rallies. This is an amazing race car with a great history. This potent 289 boasts over 400hp and is vintage legal for any event in the United States and Canada. This amazing engine was built by Legendary Vic Edelbrock's personal mechanic Mike Eddy with only 6 racing hours since refreshed. All of 315s drivetrain remains in tact with a Detroit locker in the rear. 315 shows in the Shelby World Registry and was certified in 2001 by Howard Pardee. A street car until 2001 and now a great combination car to give its new owners years of satisfaction both vintage racing and road rallying.
