Here's a striking Viper red B-Body 440 Mopar that has been completely restored from the ground-up. Great attention to every detail. Includes a 56 page hard cover book from beginning to the final finishes. The 440cid engine was dyno tested at 524hp and 569 ft/lbs of torque on pump gas. It's equipped with Edelbrock aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and a race-version double-pump 850 carburetor prepared by The Carb Shop. Additional items include an aluminum radiator, two oil coolers

(one for the transmission and one for the motor oil) MSD ignition, Hedman headers, 3' exhaust flowing through a crossover pipe and Flowmasters to the rear chrome tips, reminiscent of the later factory Road Runner/GTX models. The transmission is an A727 TorqueFlite fitted with race-caliber parts installed including a 3,500 stall torque converter. Shifting is accomplished with a B&M 'Hammer' shifter. The line-lock is located on the shifter console. The suspension is all new. Hotchkis HEMI torsion bars were installed, along with all new ball joints and bushings, an optional front sway bar and adjustable shocks front and rear. The rear springs were replaced with Calvert Racing monoleaf springs and Cal Trac bars, the rear end is 8 3/4' unit fitted with Sure Grip and 4.10:1 gears, the driveshaft is all new, oversized with larger u-joints, all the brake linings are high performance from muscle car brakes, the car is also equipped with line-lock for quick launches. The car was completely disassembled before its 2 stage Viper red paint was applied to its rust-free and straight body. All the trim has been professionally replated, polished and/or painted for the perfect complement to the rest of the build. The interior is upholstered in a high quality vinyl and tweed (with the look and feel of leather) the dash is a custom-fabricated piece housing Auto Meter Phantom gauges with a programmable shift light. The interior compartment was lined with second skin acoustic material which makes the interior surprisingly quiet. The tunes come from a 6 speaker Pioneer system with a powerful Alpine Amp. The Amp and a 20 gallon foam filled fuel cell with steel braided lines are installed in the trunk along with the battery. Center line wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompsons will surely grab the asphalt to ensure optimal traction when needed. This 440 Mopar is an absolute blast to drive. It's fast, sounds amazing, very streetable and comfortable for longer drives. As one of the nicest class Mopars available today. It surely will not disappoint.
