Details

This Resto-Mod 1966 Mustang was featured in Mustang Monthly and is finished in Candy Apple Red over a black interior. Producing 322rwhp and 324 ft/lbs of torque, the 305ci 8-cylinder roller block engine was bored .030 over with a DSS 331 stroker kit and is equipped with Edelbrock Performer cylinder heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM air-gap intake, 750 cfm Holley vacuum secondary carburetor and a Ford Racing X 303 hydraulic roller camshaft. It's also been outfitted with a Canton rear sump oil pan

for a Fox Body modified to clear the K-member, custom FPA long-tube headers with custom 2.5-inch exhaust and Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers, MSD 6AL ignition, coil and distributor, and a 1993 Mustang air conditioning compressor. Power is sent through a TREMEC TKO 500 5-speed manual transmission with a retro shifter handle and knob, Centerforce dual-friction clutch, cable clutch conversion, Fidanza aluminum flywheel, and 8.8-inch rear axle with 3.73:1 limited-slip differential. Bringing this Mustang to a halt is a set of 13-inch front and 11.65-inch rear Cobra brakes with SSBC billet master cylinder and custom power brake booster. Handling is provided by Griggs Racing GR350 front suspension with SN-95 spindles, GR350 K-member, Griggs anti-roll bar, Bump steering kit and subframe connectors, and Griggs torque arm rear suspension and Panhard bar with custom rear-axle mounts. It's additionally equipped with Mustang Cobra rack & pinion steering, Total Control shock tower brace with custom shock tower plate, Painless Performance wiring harness and a trunk-mounted battery. The exterior features a fiberglass Shelby-style hood with steel reinforcements, billet grille, Shelby side scoops and front valance, Shelby-style rear decklid and end caps, sequential LED taillights in billet housings, Ringbrothers billet hood hinges and quick-latch push-button billet hood latches.
