Details
This 1966 Corvette Resto-Mod was professionally built and featured in HotRod Magazine. The paint is a custom pearl mix design layered in 26 coats. The chassis is a radically modified original frame with C5 suspension up front and C4 suspension in the rear. The transmission is a modified Richmond T10 4-speed with a .82 overdrive. The engine is an all-aluminum 555ci big-block Chevy pushing out 748hp. It is equipped with a Donavan aluminum block, Dart cylinder heads with a compression ratio of
12.5:1, 765 lift solid roller cam, MSD ignition, Hilborn electronic fuel injection, lightweight crankshaft from Callies and Crower billet connecting rods. The interior features lightweight racing seats and a 6-point roll bar. The upholstery is done in custom-made tan leather with 5-point safety harness from G-Force. The original gauges and Carabine ECU monitor the engine.
