Freshly completed in November 2022, this custom 1966 Corvette convertible received a professional rotisserie restoration and has been upgraded with modern technology to create this high-end Resto-Mod inspired by the C7 Z06 Corvette. Like the C7 Z06, this Corvette is powered by a new supercharged and intercooled LT4 crate engine making 650hp and 650 ft/lbs of torque. The engine is equipped with a Drive Junky serpentine accessories and pulley kit, Wegner custom valve covers and a stock C7 Z06 air intake pulling in fresh air from the driver's side fender vents. The engine is backed by a new TREMEC T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with dual-disc hydraulic clutch and billet flywheel. The power is delivered to a Dana rear end with a 3.54 gear ratio. This Corvette's foundation is a complete Corvette Correction chassis equipped with Pro-Touring Hyperco springs and QA1 double adjustable coilover shocks, forged aluminum A-arms, and power rack & pinion steering. Stopping is courtesy of a Baer Brakes master cylinder with Baer 6-piston calipers front and rear clamping on 14-inch drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. The exterior is finished in its original color of Trophy Blue with a 1967 Stinger hood finished in Lynndale Blue and is topped with a dark blue Haartz Stayfast soft convertible top. This custom Corvette rides on 18-inch C7 Z06 chrome replica wheels wrapped in fresh 2022 Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 tires, 245/40 all around. The interior is trimmed in its original color of dark blue but has been upgraded with luxurious leather with light blue stitching and features custom coves, seats and door panels. It has a Vintage Air system, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, an Ididit tilt column topped with a Billet Specialties steering wheel, and a Bluetooth-capable Custom Autosound replica stereo with an amplifier and rear speakers. Other features include Detroit Speed electric headlight door motors, Selecta-Speed wiper motor and a custom returnless fuel tank setup with a PWM (pulse width modulation) fuel pump. And, like the C7 Z06, the exhaust system features 'mild to wild' electric valve cutouts built right into the mufflers for freer flow and great sound.
