1966 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE CUSTOM COUPE

This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle custom coupe underwent a frame-off, rotisserie build and is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine with a Texas Speed Stage 3 blower camshaft paired to a TR6060 6-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter from Three Pedals. The engine is kept cool by a Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The sound flows through Flowmaster long-tube ceramic-coated headers and a 3-inch stainless-steel Hooker Blackheart exhaust. The posi-traction Currie 9-inch rear differential is equipped with 3.70 gears driven by a 3.5-inch aluminum driveshaft made by Three Pedals. The frame was boxed and powder-coated. ABC Performance mini-tubs were installed to accommodate the Raceline wheels wrapped with Toyo Proxes tires. Braking performance is provided by a Wilwood 4-wheel power disc braking system that includes drilled and slotted rotors. Handling comes from 4-wheel QA1 adjustable coilover suspension, which includes front and rear anti-sway bars, tubular A-frames and adjustable upper and lower control arms with power rack & pinion steering. Other features include a new interior with double-layered sound-deadening and all-new glass. This Chevelle is equipped with Old Air Products air conditioning and heat, a Classic Instruments G-Stock instrument cluster with a built-in tachometer and shift light, and a center console with a clock and tilt steering. Additionally, it has all new wiring from American Autowire and a stand-alone engine harness by Wiring Specialties.
