This beautiful and rare Chevelle SS 396 has the correct 138 VIN. An original California car built in the Fremont plant, it has matching-numbers 396/360hp L34 engine. It's also equipped with the matching-numbers M-21 Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a 12-bolt rear end with 3:73 gears. The RPO U14 special instrumentation option includes a 5,500 rpm redline tachometer, mechanical oil pressure gauge, amp gauge and water temperature gauge. It had a recent frame-off restoration with upgraded
4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, 2-1/2' dual exhaust with H-pipe and Dynomax mufflers. This real SS Chevelle looks amazing and is a blast to drive.
