1965 SHELBY COBRA CSX 4000 ROADSTER

This 50th Anniversary Shelby Cobra is a Continuation Series vehicle and is #28 of 50 produced in 2015. Built by Shelby American Inc. in Las Vegas, NV, to commemorate the 50 year anniversary of the Shelby Cobra. Shelby American started building these cars in 1995 to present. Not to be confused with replicas or a kit car, this is a fully documented Shelby with a proper CSX number and a Manufacturers Statement of Origin. Only a small number are built each year, and each one is included in the official Shelby Registry. This CSX4000 is finished in Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White stripes and is powered by a 1960s period-correct Ford FE 427ci engine. The engine block and heads are original cast iron produced by Ford. This engine is stroked and has an original Ford FE 428 crankshaft producing approximately 454ci of displacement. The heads are cast-iron originals Ford FE 427 heads. The transmission is a TREMEC 5-speed manual produced with the highest-quality components and is true to the form and tradition of the originals. It is a highly optioned Cobra with leather seats, heater/defroster, Goodyear Billboard tires and an electric fuel pump. This Cobra has approximately 130 total miles.
