1965 COBRA CUSTOM 427 ROADSTER

This is the original Boyd Coddington AC Cobra, built by Hot Rods by Boyd in the late '80s. It was the one and only AC Cobra built by Boyd. The goal of Boyd was to build the fastest most beautiful Cobra ever. To build the car to the owner's specs involved more than five years of hard work and approximately $300,000 to complete. The car comes with every invoice of the entire building process from Hot Rods by Boyd, and many are signed by Boyd himself. It has an original AC Cobra body imported from England with a custom frame built by Boyd. New owner added new wheels that were designed by Wheels by Boyd custom for this car in 2005. This car is Boyd Red and the engine is a 427 side oiler. A Tech 3 fuel injection system with Weber-style individual throttle bodies and distributorless ignition was also installed in 2005, which took the place of the original eight Webber carburetors. This car has approximately 200 miles and is in new condition inside and out. This is a true one-of-a-kind Boyd Coddington original.
