1965 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS 2 DOOR COUPE

This Impala SS is the recipient of a highest quality frame-off restoration completed in 2008. It is refinished in its rare factory original color, Evening Orchid and the black interior features bucket seats, center console, tachometer, tilt steering column, interior chrome package, day/night rear view mirror, factory air conditioning and Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Mechanically, the all-new suspension is upgraded with power 4-wheel disc brakes and upgraded springs, the rebuilt 12-bolt rear end has 3.55 gearing, an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor top the matching numbers original 396cid motor and a stainless exhaust system is fitted. The engine retains its stock exhaust manifolds and the intake manifold is ground and blasted to look factory correct, so the motor compartment looks proper and original even with the upgrades. The 18' wheels and lower stance are the only indication that the car is not all stock when you look at it, but from behind the wheel it drives and performs much better than new. Superb quality, rare color and matching numbers.
