This custom 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible underwent a complete restoration and is powered by a 6.2-liter 8-cylinder engine paired with a 4L70E 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine is fitted with a polished sheet-metal intake manifold, and the engine bay is smoothed and has polished accent finishes throughout. The Street Shop frame has been powder-coated in Accent Silver and is supported by C7 Z06 suspension all around with independent rear suspension and multi-position adjustable coilovers, providing ride-height adjustability. It also has upgraded Z06 brakes and 14-inch slotted rotors. The front corners are fitted with a set of Z06-style 19x8.5-inch wheels on front and 19x10-inch Z06-style wheels on the rear, all wrapped with Diamond Back performance red line tires. The body has been stripped down to the fiberglass and refinished in new black paint, features a Stinger hood with a red stripe, and has been fitted with new glass, weatherstripping and trim. Covered with a new Coffman Corvette black soft-top, the custom red interior sports form-fitting low-profile custom contoured seats and hosts a suite of modern features, including a Vintage Air system, power steering, power E-Stopp emergency brake, Dakota Digital gauges and clock, a Billet Specialties steering wheel and Bluetooth retro-looking surround sound stereo for wireless iPhone or Android connection. This custom Corvette was recently completed in the early summer of 2024 and has over 250 test miles.
