Details
Corvette with matching top. Build date was May 22, 1965 and titled November 16, 1965. Nassau Blue with black leather interior, with comfort and convenience group. Came with soft ray glass on all glass, power windows, teakwood steering wheel, telescopic steering column, AM/FM radio. All gauges have been professionally restored along with TI ignition. Powered by a 327/375hp Fuel Injected engine matched with a Muncie M20 4-speed, coupled with off-road exhaust and posi-traction rear axle. The car
has plenty of power with power brakes to slow this fast car down. Rides on special front and rear suspension, original Kelsey-Hayes cast aluminum knock-off wheels matched with gold line tires, nylon cord. The car comes with the original protection plan booklet and the Protect-O-Plate is still attached in the warranty booklet, along with complete owner history. The car was purchased by Jim Snell of Byrd's Restorations in Ponca City, Oklahoma. With the help of Mike Tucker, previous NCRS Judge of Rolling Thunder Restorations in Oklahoma City, the roadster went through an 18 month restoration process and has been completely stripped down to bare fiberglass and completely restored to its original state. All numbers are original and matching. Through the restoration process the car was built to show quality. The car is currently in pristine condition and ready to be shown for the first time in 20 years.
