Details
Roush Performance Shops and Speed Fanatix/Backdraft decided to do a special Roush-autographed version imprinted on the window. Backdraft calls it the Blackout Series with black ceramic exhaust and chromed engine parts, such as valve covers, water pump and pulleys, as well as reflective engine bay panels and a custom-painted carbon-fiber dashboard. They added a 427ci V8 engine that puts out 550hp and 522 ft/lbs of torque. To enhance the car’s competitiveness, the paint was totally upgraded keeping with the current color theme of red/black by Ashton Auto Group in Sarasota, FL, in 2014. The car has an MSD Blaster SS high-output coil with a 3.46 limited-slip
differential with an automatic transmission allowing for easy access and set up for car competitions. Several car shows have recognized the Cobra and presented awards for Best in its Class, with the last being the Festivals of Speed and Celebration car shows in 2014. **TITLED AS A 1965 ROADSTER**
