Details
This is one of twenty Marshalls built for a special test program that would loan Studebaker Marshalls to twenty law enforcement agencies across the country. Built to specific agency specifications, all were equipped with Avanti RI engines. This one was destined for the Kentucky state police, but somehow wound up in service by the city of Phoenix, Arizona. In 1983 it was donated to the Studebaker National Museum and in 1997 it was purchased by a collector and restored to its present condition. It is equipped with correct police radio, siren, and lights as well as 60's radar equipment. It is documented by the original build sheet, as well as a complete folder of history of this rare Pursuit Marshall Studebaker.
