The '58' in the VIN signifies that this is a true SS with a V8 engine. This Chevelle underwent a complete frame-up restoration. The floor and trunk pans were cleaned and undercoated. Front and rear shock absorbers, front and rear brake shoes. Wheel cylinders and master cylinder are all new. Brake drums were machined to specs. SS steel wheels and four BFGoodrich radial tires. Upgraded with a 396cid engine. The 396 that powers this Super Sport has been bored to a 402cid. High performance parts include camshaft, double roller timing gear, heavy duty valve springs, pop-up pistons, semi-open chambered heads, Hedman headers, Edelbrock high rise aluminum intake manifold, 780cfm Holly dual feed carburetor and Flowmaster dual exhaust system. Chrome valve covers, wing nuts, wire separators, water pump, fuel pump, alternator brackets, flywheel cover, oil pan and pulleys dress up the car's new engine. A chrome transmission pan completes the 350 Turbo automatic transmission. The automatic transmission is shifted by a B&M cable shifter. Inside, you'll sit on a brand new interior. All metal parts in the interior were painted. The door panels, quarter panels, armrests, dash, carpet, package tray and dash bezel are all new as well as the AM/FM cassette with dual speakers in front and dual 6x9' rear speakers. The added sound deadener on the floor and the padded speaker covers under the package tray in the trunk keep the music in the car and engine noise out. The engine has less than 500 miles since completion.
