Description

This 1963 Lincoln Continental underwent a complete concours-level, nut-and-bolt restoration with invoices totaling over $250,000. Driven approximately 500 miles since its completion in 2020, it was built using the best parts available, and the underside is as nice as the top. This Lincoln was stripped down to bare metal, with over 500 hours spent in prep time alone. All the chrome pieces were original and completely and professionally restored. The car was blocked in three stages for razor-straight panels and was finished in a custom-blended paint that was named Super Black with a House of Kolor clear coat. A $40,000 custom leather interior, which was completely removed and redone to high standards, included Dynamat, all-new carpet, door panels, Lincoln-embossed emblem stitched on the upper back seats and a custom leather-wrapped dash. While the interior was being redone, all the gauges were removed and restored as well. The door panels were the original factory option. An Alpine sound system with custom focal speakers and a hidden subwoofer complete the high-end quality sound system. This Lincoln is powered by its fully restored and built 430ci V8 engine bored 0.30 over with modern fuel injection and a 3-speed automatic transmission. The chassis was taken down to bare metal, powder coated and enhanced to drive like a modern Lincoln. Rounding out the build is a set of custom-made 22-inch billet wheels designed to resemble the original hubcaps.

Complete concours-level nut-and-bolt restoration totaling over $250,000 completed in 2020. Over 1-1/2 years and over 5,000 hours invested. Powered by a rebuilt 430ci V8 engine bored 0.30 over with modern fuel injection and 3-speed automatic transmission.
