1963 FORD FALCON SPRINT CONVERTIBLE

This 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint convertible was purchased by the current owner in 1991 from a car collection in Oregon. It has an original 260ci V8 engine and 3-speed manual column-shift transmission. It has been garage-stored and maintained in Santa Fe, NM, and driven occasionally for show. Recent maintenance over the last 10 years includes a rebuilt power steering box, new radiator, all coolant hoses, window rubber, convertible top, both front and rear springs, new tires, rebuilt brake system and

new tie rod bushings. The exhaust system has been replaced in the past and the transmission serviced. The engine was rebuilt about 10 years ago and has been driven about 1,000 miles since. This classic automobile has been repainted its original Rangoon Red before the current owner acquired the car, but the paint finish is 'as-new' and the white convertible top functions perfectly. The interior, both seats and carpeting are original and in excellent condition with a small amount of wear on the driver's seat bottom on the left side. The original AM radio was working before it was disconnected when a CD stereo radio was installed in the glove box with speakers hidden under the dashboard. The tachometer should be either replaced or repaired and the dash pad has some minor cracking. The ventilation door by the driver's foot well is broken, but a replacement part is included with the car.
