Description
This 1963 Chevrolet Impala custom coupe has had the same owner for the past 23 years. It features a Chris Alston full-tube chassis and is powered by a Chevrolet 572ci V8 engine with a BDS blower and Bug Catcher EFI, backed by a custom-built electronic 6-speed automatic overdrive transmission by Gear Vendors. This Impala was a completely stock, fully restored show car before the owner began modifications and customizations. The full-tube chassis built by Chris Alston features a 4-link rear end and polished front suspension with rack & pinion steering. It is equipped with Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, Line Lock and a transmission brake. The body is channeled around the chassis, with no air ride needed to achieve this stance. This vehicle features custom airbrushed composite front and rear bumpers, as well as a composite hood and trunk lid. The engine and steering column have been moved back 10.5 inches, and the vehicle retains its stock padded dash with AutoMeter gauges. This Impala features a full leather interior. It was built for the street and has never been raced.
