Details

This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe is finished in a desirable Riverside Red with a black vinyl interior and is one of just 2,610 1963 Corvettes with the fuel-injected 327ci/360hp engine. Built the third week of February 1963, this car was an early body style with storage wells under the seats. Factory options include BorgWarner T10 4-speed transmission, 4.11 posi-traction (4.11 code CE) rear axle, power windows and Wonder Bar AM radio. This car also is equipped with aluminum-finned

knock-off wheels with 3-bar spinners wrapped in new Firestone Deluxe Champion 7.75x15-inch blackwall tires, and includes a spare steel wheel and new 6.70x15-inch Firestone Deluxe Champion blackwall tire with the jack and tools. The car consists of most all factory-correct components, including engine casting #3782870 dated A153 (January 15, 1963), engine pad F0117RF (Flint, January 17, RF = L84 360hp) with matching partial VIN (though Roy Sinor concludes it may be a correct restoration, rather than original engine), correct reproduction exhaust manifolds #3797942 and #3797902, transmission WL182 (Warner, December 18, 1962) with matching partial VIN, bell housing GM 3788421 dated K272 (November 27, 1962), tail shaft housing #3813490, differential axle code CE 4.11:1 posi-traction dated December 12, 1962, FI unit part #7017375, 7-fin aluminum 'Corvette' script valve covers, distributor #1111022 dated 3A14 (January 14, 1963), alternator #1100628 dated 2M19 (December 19,1962), starter #1107242 dated 3A11 (January 11, 1963), Harrison aluminum radiator #3155316 dated 63A (January 1963), Harrison thermostatic element design fan clutch, 9-leaf rear springs, T3 headlights, windshield 'Safety [LOF] Plate, Laminated, AS1 VI' (December 1962) and side glass 'Safety [LOF] Plate, Laminated, AS2 VI' (December 1962). This car has a clean and detailed undercarriage. Roy Sinor inspected the car in December 2018 and verified the car's authenticity. The car is also included in the 1963 Corvette Registry (not included with sale).
