Details
This 1962 Mercedes 190SL roadster had a restoration that was done in 1995 by a Mercedes specialist in Augsburg, Germany. During the restoration, the car was restored in the original color 190 (Graphite) with a red leather interior. The engine and drivetrain were completely redone and Weber carburetors were installed. The chrome was either rechromed or replaced. All instruments, as well as the radio, are original. The third owner from Herrsching, Germany, purchased the car in early 2001 as part of a collection, from the owner in Augsburg and brought the car to the United States. Before he shipped the car, he had it completely serviced, and the rubber hoses and tires replaced. In 2002, the 190SL made its way to a collector in Lakewood, WA, where the car was maintained and part of a private collection for many years.
