Impala SS 409cid Resto-Mod. This car has had a complete frame-off restoration. No expense was spared in building this car. The engine is a '62, 409cid built with a 427 crank, bored to 4.345, stroke 3766, rods 4340 steel and a 6.135 long big block. The cam is an Engle solid lifter, .561 lift duration, 284 degrees, Ross Racing pistons with push rod guide plates. All blueprinted and balanced, 10:1 compression. Backed up with a Richmond 6-speed standard transmission with a Ford 9' rear end. Built
for show and speed. This car has only been driven less than 100 miles since the restoration. Interior is all reproduction original. Although it is extremely fast, it drives like a dream and is very dependable. The car was originally a 4-speed with a V8. Suspension is all air ride, which is controlled inside the car giving it a great ride. The underside is just as nice as the top. No detail was overlooked.
