1962 CHEVROLET IMPALA CUSTOM COUPE

This custom 1962 Chevrolet Impala is powered by a factory replacement Chevrolet 409ci V8 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Finished in red over red, it underwent a frame-off restoration of the bodywork, paint and interior in 2013. The 409ci V8 was professionally installed at the time of restoration and features a dual-inlet air cleaner, an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor on a Winters aluminum intake manifold and 409 Turbo Fire valve covers. Features include quad headlamps, chrome bumpers, 409 badging, rocker panel trim, satin and chrome taillight panel, push-button radio, a column-mounted tachometer and a new Flowmaster dual-outlet exhaust system. This Impala sits on 14-inch steel wheels wearing chrome dog-dish hubcaps and wrapped in Cooper Trendsetter tires. The bench seats have been reupholstered in red vinyl with striped cloth seating surfaces and are complemented by a matching dashboard, door panels and carpets. Additional equipment includes a bright dashboard trim, a locking glovebox and lap seatbelts. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a column-mounted 7,000 rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges indicating coolant temperature and fuel level. The car comes with a complete factory-original 409 carburetor and the factory-original radio.

Powered by a Chevrolet big-block 409ci V8 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Full frame-off restoration. The dyno sheet indicates 400hp and 382 ft/lbs of torque. Has a Flowmaster dual exhaust, column-mounted tach and dog-dish hubcaps.
