Description
This 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air bubble top is one of the authentic Dennis Hill conversions and is virtually indistinguishable from a factory build. Hill converted a handful of hardtops to sport coupes and is known for his attention to detail. The car is powered by a 409ci V8 engine with 409hp mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine is date-code correct and the factory-optioned transmission matches both the engine and the data plate option codes. The only other option code on the data plate is the tinted windshield found on the car. It has no other options and is a heater delete with no power steering, brakes, radio or other weight-adding options. This true drag car has factory-style drum brakes. **TITLED AS A 1962 CHEV BELAIR**
Legendary builder Dennis Hill of Jack's Auto built about 12 bubble top custom conversions, and this is one of them. Correct date code 409/409 with engine stamp corresponding to a 409/409 4-speed manual transmission. Titled as 1962 CHEV BELAIR.
