Details
This Impala is an original Code 900 Tuxedo Black car. It also still retains its original sheet metal, chrome and stainless trim all of which are in excellent condition. All of the tinted glass is also in excellent condition. This is a less than 77,000 original mile car that has never had rust or body damage. The owner added 1962 SS hubcaps along with white wall radials to this Impala. The red interior is the Code 874 and this Impala came with this color interior originally. The entire interior
is new from the carpet to the headliner. The seats are vinyl and cloth. This Impala has the AM radio, power steering and tinted glass. The 4-speed shifter is original and added SS shifter plate. Under the plate is the correct boot if you prefer to remove the SS plate. The trunk is solid and looks like it did in 1962. This trunk has the correct spare, mats and jack assembly. Under the hood you will find a detailed engine compartment that is home to the original 327/300hp engine. As you can see in the photos this engine compartment looks excellent and ready to show. The engine runs as good as it looks. The entire undercarriage still has a light coat of original undercoating from the factory. All suspension parts were either replaced or rebuilt as need during the restoration. *Title in Transit*
