1962 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE

Details

This car was purchased in 1994 from the island of Maui, HI and shipped to Minnesota. It was decided to do a complete body-off restoration to restore the car to its original glory. Since the complete rebuild of the engine only 25 miles have been driven. The frame, stripped down body and undercarriage show no signs of damage. To complete this restoration, every part is original or an approved OEM replacement. Contains the original aluminum valve covers. Brand new muffler and exhaust system. The

engine block has never been blown and was put back together using the same original specifications. This car has the original carburetor and original aluminum intake manifold. The car has brand new oil lines, fuel lines and brakes. Originally painted Honduras Maroon off of the manufacturing line it has been painted to be Sateen Silver. The convertible frame was sandblasted and repainted. The windshield and door windows have the correct LOF stamping. All of the chrome, bumpers and other accessory parts are brand new. The car comes with a brand new black convertible softtop. The car has the original tires that would have come with the car that were purchased from Coker Tire Company. The spinner hubcaps are brand new. The interior is black with new door panels, seat covers and carpeting. The radio is an original Wonder Bar. The radio, dash gauges including speedometer and tachometer were sent to Paragon and were completely rebuilt. The door covers, seat covers, dash pad and convertible top were all purchased from Al Knoch Interiors. There is a new dash pad, door knobs, door locks and trunk lock.
