1962 AUSTIN-HEALEY 3000 MARK II ROADSTER

This 1962 Austin-Healey Mark II BT7 is one of only 1,941 cars made with center shift transmission and triple carburetors. This car has benefitted from a recent complete, professional, nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration. The car is finished in DuPont two-stage polyurethane, 5-Star, chroma base paint in black over ivory. The body panels and chassis were shot blasted down to bare metal before being painted with base coat clear coat. Complete new interior, black seats with ivory piping and matching

wool carpets, new panel kit, new trunk kit, new side curtains, black top and black tonneau cover. All chrome, interior and exterior pieces have bee triple plated. New parts were used when necessary, rebuilding the engine, transmission and overdrive, and the ancillary systems were given the same treatment. An all-new cloth wiring harness was utilized along with new or rebuilt electrical components. A complete new fuel system was installed including new tank and lines, all the way up to the three newly rebuilt 1.5 SU HS4 carburetors. The exhaust has been jet-coated and fitted to a new steel exhaust system. The brake lines, master cylinder, front disc brakes and jet-coated rear brake drums are all new. New front and rear suspension, Dunlop chrome wire wheels and road speed tires. No expense was spared in this restoration with the majority of parts purchased new from England.
