On August 5th 2001 at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Southern California it got the coveted Peoples Choice Award out of over 1,500 vehicles. It runs as good as it looks. The VW emblem is the only part of the paint job that needs to be redone and the White Pearl can be matched. Original truck gates have been restored and will be sold with the truck.
