Details
This Impala Bubble Top Sport Coupe has had a full frame-off restoration three years and 2,000 miles ago, starting out with a rust-free Southwest car. With an exceptional-quality restoration and a high degree of detail, it features stunning Roman Red finish over a fully refreshed red-and-white interior. The beautifully restored trim, stainless, chrome and emblems, along with the Super Sport Trim Package, look like they just came from the factory. It's powered by a completely rebuilt 350ci engine
with polished Edelbrock dual-quad carburetors, polished aluminum intake, and headers with lots of extra chrome and upgrades. It has a Powerglide transmission with mild shift kit, along with a 3.08 rear end. Power steering, front disc brakes, Vintage Air and Boyd Coddington wheels with modern radials make this car a joy to ride. This car was completely disassembled and everything on it was replaced, refurbished or discarded. The body is all-steel and laser-straight; it shows it from every angle. The glass is in excellent condition with no issues. During the restoration the weatherstripping, seals, moldings and gaskets were all replaced. All the chrome and brightwork show like new. The underside of the car also shows as new, with the pans being incredibly solid. The chassis was treated with a black finish and a dusting of Roman Red to appear as it was done at the factory. The gas tank, fuel lines and assorted hardware were all-new during the build, as was all hardware used during the reassembly of the car.
