Details
This is an undocumented 283/315hp Fuelie with 4-speed, both tops, Wonder Bar radio and heater. The body is finished in Tuxedo Black with silver coves and black interior with white headliner. It currently has been driven less than 100 miles since receiving a ground-up, body-off restoration. The car was completely dismantled and given a frame-off restoration over a three-year period. Virtually every area of the car was addressed and repaired or replaced as required. The chrome was redone to
show-quality in California. It has a new, full wiring harness, all-new convertible top, new windshield, as well as new upholstery, door panels and headliner from Al Knoch Interiors. There was virtually no body work to do, but all of the interior and exterior paint work on the car was done, including the fame and engine compartment bringing it all back to factory specifications. While the car was under restoration, the previous owner had the engine removed and completely rebuilt to conform with the 315hp fuel-injection specifications. They completed the full rebuild, using a Comp cam and solid lifters to conform to factory requirements. The previous owner removed the fuel injection unit during the restoration and sent it out to have it completely rebuilt, the plenum interior walls were coated with a Teflon-type product which allows the unit to remain considerable cooler during normal operation, increase the volume of air going through it and improve the overall reliability of the entire unit.
