Many hours went into the custom hand formed steel work before the two-tone black paint was applied. The headlights and tail lights were relocated lower in the fenders to give the car a lower look. The custom driving light was carved into the front bumper to help with the flow of lowness. The custom made air bag system was designed so nothing rubs even when it is at its lowest. Even the header pipe was custom made not to be seen but to be heard. It sound like no other Beetle with its deep race inspired sound.
