Details
A wonderful restored Classic Volkswagen that has been owned by the same family since 1970. The vehicle was imported into the United States from Switzerland in the early '70s and was swapped from different family members in California, Utah and finally ended up in Las Vegas in the late '80s. The vehicle was restored over a five-year period and finally finished in 2013. The Beetle is always stored inside and under a car cover. The vehicle is regularly driven and maintained to show quality specs.
The exterior paint on the vehicle was originally a special order color called Sellerie Green and in 1960 they changed the formulas slightly and named it Beryl Green. This is a very rare color for any Volkswagen and it looks beautiful. The body and paint are awesome, the stainless and aluminum trim is all new or restored to like new. The European bumpers are in amazing shape, all of the rubber seals are new. The fender beading is a light cream which matches great with the brand new cream interior and sliding sun roof material. The motor is a German 1600 crate motor and is bolted up to a professionally rebuilt 4-speed factory Volkswagen transmission. The car runs and drives amazing and the motor has that classic Volkswagen unique sound that everyone remembers from their youth.
