Description
As evidenced by its 'Junior' nomenclature, this Porsche 108 L tractor was the smallest and most popular of Porsche's family of tractors produced from 1956 to 1963 in Friedrichshafen-Manzell, Germany, at the Zeppelin factory. Only about 1,000 Porsche tractors of all variants were sold new to the U.S. due to stiff competition in the American market. This 1960 108 L comes finished in traditional red over cream-colored steel wheels with matching seat. It uses the robust and unique 822cc single-cylinder diesel engine (4039H), paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, including reverse and a single-disc dry clutch. This vehicle was acquired by a previous English caretaker from a collector in Ireland prior to its arrival in the States and presents in excellent restored condition. It remains ready to work as intended. No collection of Porsches is complete without one of the marque's tractors, and this particular example will not disappoint. **SOLD ON BILL OF SALE**
Restored example of Porsche's popular tractor model. Powered by an 822cc single-cylinder diesel engine and 6-speed transmission. Constructed in Friedrichshafen-Manzell, Germany. Sold on Bill of Sale.
