Thought of as the little brother to the 300SL Gullwing, this 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL has undergone a complete 3-1/2-year top-to-bottom restoration in 2019 and is finished in original Mercedes-Benz DB-172 Anthracite Gray Metallic with a matching hardtop. It is powered by a 1.9-liter M121 inline-4 engine that was factory-rated at 104hp with 105 ft/lbs of torque. Has twin side-draft Solex carburetors and is paired to a matching 4-speed manual transmission. Date-accurate engine decals were installed during the restoration. The exterior features refinished original chrome or factory-original pieces. The interior is fitted with red leather bucket seats, doors and a rear soft-top boot. Amenities include a Becker Europa AM/FM radio, an analog clock and manual-crank windows. Includes a new factory soft-top ready to use. It rides on correct 13-inch chrome wheels paired to BFGoodrich whitewall tires along with a trunk-mounted spare to match. It is a California concours winner with a California title.
