One of the most desired Healeys to own is the two-seater version of the 3000 MKI roadster with its simple to tune H6 carburetors. It retains the classic elegance of the 100-4 two-seater configuration enhanced by the longer wheel base of the big Healey. Features such as the 145hp, 3.0L engine, disc brakes, alloy body panels and weighing in under 2,400 lbs make this car deliver driving performance far above the early cars and only dreamed of by the later heavier touring cabriolets. There were less

than 1,200 of these rare cars made, which makes it a stand-out at Healey meets and car shows. This exceptional stunning example shown here has benefitted from an exhaustive nut and bolt, fully documented, ground-up restoration by Tom Rocke, Healey Lane Restorations of Riverside, California. The exterior has been painted with two-stage urethane paint of black over ivory and polished to a high-gloss finish. The interior has Amblia covered seats done in black with ivory piping, black wool carpets, leather covered dash with rebuilt and recalibrated original gauges, new steering wheel, new front windscreen, new side curtains, black English canvas softtop and black tonneau cover. The transmission and engine have been rebuilt using all new components and accessorized with jet-coat manifolds and stainless steel exhaust system. Additionally, the radiator has been re-cored and the fuel tank has been refurbished with a lifetime warranty. To complete the restoration, Dunlop chrome wire wheels with 175R15 Radial Road Speed tires have been installed, including the spare.
