Air scoops were popular in 1959. De Sotos had three built right into the bi-level front bumper. Firedomes came with back-up lights, padded dash panel, rear foam cushions, front and rear carpets, wheel covers, special steering wheel and variable speed windshield wipers. This car has had one registered California owner since new. It has had a very careful re-paint in original Spring Rose and Golden Tan poly colors. All chrome has been re-chromed and stainless trim polished. The engine compartment
has been extensively detailed to original. New 800-14 BFGoodrich tires are mounted on Kelsey Hayes-style chrome wire wheels. A new total correct exhaust with correct sounding mufflers. The motor is correct-style 383/305hp V8 options including TorqueFlite transmission, power steering, power brakes, manual swivel seats, dual exhaust, white wall 800-14 tires, radio with antenna, standard two tone paint, Solex tinted glass, electric clock, windshield washer and outside rear view mirror.
