Details
28,500 original miles and same owner for over 37 years. Purchased new in 1959 in Panama by a US Army Officer, Jake Paul. Because of tropical climate, the car was not equipped with a heater, however it was equipped with a rare tri-carburetor set up. The car was road raced in Panama by Jake Paul and won often including a First Place in a 300km race. The plaque for that win is affixed to the dash. It was shipped back to the US in the 1960's and stored for over ten years it was purchased by dirt track racer Richard Duckworth in 1970, but the car sat in storage until a restoration was completed in 1976. In 1978, the car was awarded a First Place trophy in New Market, Virginia show attended by Mr. Healy himself. Mr. Duckworth estimates he drove the car about 4,000 miles and certifies the mileage shown on the odometer 28,513 is actual mileage. The car also comes with its original Panama title. The car drives out 100% and overdrive works.
