Details
This 1957 Ford Thunderbird convertible has undergone an extensive nut-and-bolt, rotisserie, concours restoration. It is powered by a 312ci V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission. The body is laser-straight, all the chrome components were triple-plated, and the undercarriage has been sanded and polished to look like the exterior. This vehicle comes with two tops: a black soft-top and a porthole auxiliary hardtop. The two-tone interior was professionally recovered and installed, with all-new turned aluminum interior trim. During the restoration, small upgrades were made for ease of use during the restoration, including an upgraded steering wheel with a smaller diameter for easy entry and exit, and an electronic choke carburetor. This vehicle rides on Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels with wide white stripe tires and side skirts.
