Details
Extremely rare, this is a no-porthole removable-hardtop Thunderbird. It's been painstakingly over-restored to compete in ISCA car shows. Under the hood the 312ci Y-block engine was upgraded with a larger solid-lift cam, a factory dual 4-barrel induction system and tons of polishing and chrome. The transmission was upgraded to a T10 manual 4-speed with Hurst shifter. Comfort features include air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. The Navy Blue interior accents the Colonial White paint
perfectly. The seat was custom-stitched in original patterns using European leather hides. The trunk is finished with full carpeting, a fifth wire wheel and show-chromed jack. All of the chrome and stainless on this car has been redone to show-quality. This stunning 'Bird rides on Kelsey Hayes chromed wire rims and wide whitewall tires. The performance features of this Thunderbird make it a blast to drive.
